31st August, our country’s National Day ! Of course, public holiday as well, YIPPIE !
I’m thinking of doing something slightly different this week. Instead of the usual story-posting, I wish to dedicate a song to you all, a familiar one for all people around the world. I remembered watching a movie with the exact same title as this song, and was deeply moved by it. So to my dearest pals, or even strangers who dropped by this page coincidently – It’s grace we’re still living today, and how I’m thankful that you’re here now, in this page. My sincere wish to all of you: good health, all the love, peace and joy in this world. God bless you all forever and ever.
It’s sort of a more contemporary version, I think, you can even sing along with it, and I’ll be playing the guitar when you do. =) Yes, I’m playing it, not very good, still need lots of practice & learning, but hoping to be better one day.
Specially dedicated to YOU, the Almighty One, for helping me through sadness, down moments in my life, forgiving me my stupidity & stubbornness. Thank you for everything.
lyrics:
Amazing Grace
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now ‘am found
Was blind but now i see
T’was grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace, my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour i first believed.

It’s good! Your rhythm is good. I like the hammer-ons. You are better than I am on guitar. Really!

Jannie,
Oh no, I really doubt it. At least I can be sure now I’m no way near any good as you.
Believe me, that was 1 year ago and I haven’t been really doing much improvement since then. My bad.. however I will try my best not to get any worse. ^^ I love music, even now I still adore guitar playing. Your music inspires me to never stop loving what we do. I’m really thankful for that, Jannie.
