As many people had seen these 3 alphabets, practically everyday when you switch on your laptop, open up your internet browser, and read your daily news or email-checking from websites starting with the 3 magic ‘W’s. Yes, ‘We’ cannot live without W, so is the entire ‘World’ ! WWWs are in our lives, whether you like it or not.But today, I’m not gonna talk to you about any websites, or browsers or whatsoever. It’s the 3 Ws that got me all excited today, because someone had asked me a question 2 days ago, and I’m actually proud that the 3Ws idea came pop into my mind right after I heard it.
The question is simple, with 3 Ws in it: ~ Why you Wanna Write ? Ok, it sort of turned off your appetite ‘cause you must be expecting something huge, probably saying ‘what the heck?? That’s what it’s all about???’. I’m sorry to tell you, you’re right. Although I’m no Angelina Jolie or Jennifer Aniston, whose lives are always under surveillance of the paparazzi in the world, yet I’m actually touched by a reader who actually asked me this, and wanted to know my reasons to write! What are the odds of that! Although her actual Question was: ‘Why you Wanna Write? I never understand why people do? And you went through all the time and troubles just to write out the summaries for others to read. Why?’
I remembered my early days when I needed to search online for films, drama, as our local TV network, was never as updated as anywhere else in the world (When you’re a teenager, you will have this urgency to be Mr/Ms.Know-It-All, and we do not accept being outdated! Believe it or not!) My problem is, it usually took me hours just to find the movie details that I was looking for, not to mention Streamyx was not even in the coverage yet at that time ! Don’t get me wrong, I like brief and simple summaries too, because eventually, everybody likes to watch the movies themselves. However, at that time I was longing for a more detailed summary, since I was unable to get in touch with most of them. Also, the reason I wrote about movies, chances are, someone could actually read and like the movie, which in their earlier intentions, never came across their mind. Well, nobody can judge a book by its cover, so do movies and their titles. I learnt that from experiences as well. *wink* Aren’t we all?
Although now it’s so much easier to find the details on the web (although the chances for you to surf into porno or virus-affected websites are still much higher) or even getting yourself a cable TV for all the updated movies/dramas, the point is, it’s my passion to write, especially for synopsis. I just love movies and I’m eager to share them with my friends, and all the movie fans. Because I know, that maybe, there will be some people who enjoy spending 10 minutes reading/reviewing a movie by words or some trailers, then spending his/her time on the DVDs for 2 hours and yielded nothing as anticipated. The encouraging part is, some of my friends, even intended to watch 1 or 2 of those movies, just because ‘hey, not bad, I think I’m gonna enjoy it after all!’
So, fellow bloggers, if in future anybody asks you, WWW or WWB (Why you Wanna Blog), just tell them your story. Actually, if this is a new thread in a blog forum, you will find the main reason that you shared with most of the bloggers is: Because I Love To Write! This Is my Passion!
By the way, due to requests, I will be putting up more movies.. well, only if I get the time to watch them. Ha.. anyhow, appreciate the support guys! Enjoy your Manic Monday!
