X'mas Tree @ Corner!

Voila! There you have it!

I uploaded this as Rose had requested us to show our respective Christmas Tree in our blogs. To be honest, I’m a little embarrassed, for not only this is a small tree, but also a synthetic one that glows by batteries. BUT, I decorated it anyway. Hopefully by next few years to come, I’ll be able to get a bigger & fancy tree. *keep her finger crossed*

Unlike others who have a beautifully-decorated, spectacular Christmas tree, I have this little X’mas Tree @ Corner made by using limited materials I found in the house, from cotton wool, tooth picks, little caps from lotion bottles, used ribbons, ceramic toys/tiny boxes I’ve collected from my younger years; along with some colourful stars I made from glowing wrapping papers.

What an ‘unlikely’ inspiration I got that day! (I dare not to use the word ‘creative’ for fear somebody might fall off his/her chair). I know, it may look a little silly, but I’m loving every bit of it, as this is my very first X’mas Tree @ Corner ever since I got married. Can’t blame the girl for trying, right?

If you’re wondering how the little folded paper stars are made, kindly refer to the guest post I did on Domestik Goddess. ^^

Merry Christmas Ching Ya :) Nice cute Christmas tree you have there… Keep up the good work ;p !

Thanks, yan. A teenyweeny tree for the X’mas. I do hope it will grow bigger tomorrow. ha.. =P Merry Christmas in advance too.

I can see that you are definitely in the Christmas spirit. I see you mention teenyweeny tree, but bigger don’t mean better. Nice tree.

Thanks Mae.
I never actually had a Christmas tree or celebration back when I was living with my parents. The feeling of finally getting a place of my own, and do a little decorating feels right and delightful! It’s like a dream come true. Thanks, me and my tree appreciate your remark greatly! =)

Nice tree and very clever in using things from the house, you’re the MacGyver or Martha Stewart of Christmas Decor.

Thanks bro, it means alot, especially when it comes from you. =)

How’s the trip to NZ? Glad that you guys back in one piece. Can’t wait to hear some great stories. Which reminds me, 2 days left to your big day! =) Take care!

I think your tree is lovely and I really like the scene.

Muchas Gracias, Rose =)

I love the way you decorate your tree too with the red ribbons, santas, and the angel on top! Just love it!

It looks as if you had better luck with your tree, than I did with mine!

We did have to do some minor repairs, but it will stand tall! For this year, it’s new tree after the 25th!

Good, as long it’ll stand after 25th! So new tree next year huh? Cool! Looking forward to see your tree, perhaps a sketch? I love your drawings! As for mine, unless my ‘greed’ of seeing a bigger tree kicks in next year..then..but seems like this little one got some nice feedbacks so far, I just may let it stay awhile. ha..

Now that’s the Christmas spirit! I always have to have a big tree, and you have made it very festive with your little tree. I just may have to try the Christmas spirit with a little tree next year – although I think I may end up with ALOT of little trees all over the house. Now how fun would that be!

Thank you so much Kristie. My little tree now is glowing with glee for all the compliments you guys have given her.

That would be nice too, would love to see it if that happens. =) Still admiring your big beautiful tree though..
