Danny Gokey blew me away with ‘I Hope You Dance’ (originally by Lee Ann Womack)! Although heard it a thousands of times but just like how David Cook did with Always Be My Babe, I actually like Danny’s version better (no offense to Ronan Keating though). I hope there’s a complete version of this song, don’t you?
Still a little early for prediction, but we’ll see how far he’ll go (pretty far, if he doesn’t mess up). I’m surprised to find so many favourites at such early stage. A little upset to see some were eliminated, sigh.. but there can only be 1 winner right? So many talents, bound to be a great competition ahead. It’s gonna be another 6 months of musical nights and I’m up for it. Want to know the rest of the Top 36?
