In my research I haven't found a single application that works well with automatic updating to the newsfeed and wall; it takes anywhere from several hours to a whole week until the latest blog entry shows up. What I do for my own page is use Networked Blogs (for the added exposure) so that my latest blog entries are permanently visible on the page, but I don't have it set to automatic publishing - instead I advertise my latest blog-entries manually via status-uppdates. This way I guarantee immediate publishing, plus I often add a charming catch-phrase or question in the status to go with the link, which I find gets more attention.
