Remember 7 Features to Brand, Market, Manage with MarketMe Tweet? Yup, it’s back again with an updated version MarketMe Tweet V2.0! For those who are hearing it for the first time, it’s a Twitter client equips with branding and marketing features. I’m no marketer but its ‘branding’ ability captivates me since their free app Tweetbrand (was recently pulled to focus on their main product). Imagine if you’re a business promoter, you will do whatever it takes to get your brand out there, reaching out to potential clients as much as you possibly can. MarketMe Tweet is specially designed for the job, see how it’s placing a blog link below my tweet:

I must admit, at first I was a little skeptic about who would actually look at that tiny spot for a web link? Until some of my followers starting to ask how did I place a link to my blog in each tweet, I realized this application has a good chance even for a freelancer like myself!

Of course, it’s not fair to limit MarketMe Tweet capabilities based on my personal preference. Here are other basic features you should know about:

So after using V1 for awhile, I had to find out what are the updated features in the new release. Despite of what has been said in the video, I need to personally try it out to confirm the reliability. Kindly be reminded that this review is based on my personal opinion only and has nothing to do with MarketMe Tweet sponsorship whatsoever. So here goes:

#1  Manageable Interface

I have long hoped for a new interface since I’m a big fan of Tweetdeck and Hootsuite. I can’t be happier with the new columnized interface, a lot easier to view conversations and follow up on Twitter lists. Now we can position, rename, add lists and reload the panes as how we work on any other web/desktop clients!

Remark:

There were times earlier when MarketMe Tweet was unable to retrieve updates – pane returns with ‘No Results’. After referring to their support team I was told that Twitter itself has issues refreshing API limits on certain accounts as explained in this post.

#2  Tweet Branding

Still by far, my personal favorite of the app! This is particularly useful if you are handling multiple Twitter profiles – MarketMe Tweet saves you the trouble to log in and out of the account but manages everything inside the client! You can add multiple brandings for different campaigns or business accounts. The setup is quite simple as indicated in the video (or you can request for a step by step write up and I’ll get it done just for you):

#3  Tweet Scheduling & Bulk Import

Another improved feature that made my day. It has a sleek sliding panel to schedule tweet (with branding), and drop down boxes make sorting easy (today, week, month, year and beyond). It is convenient to check and modify scheduled tweets, even integrate it with your Google Calender:

A new feature by MarketMe Tweet to import tweets (drafts) and schedule them in bulk. For example, you have saved some interesting links in your notepad, instead of scheduling them one by one you can do it in one-go: place %T% in front, and %D% at the back of your tweet, following date and time (24 hours clock format):

Format: %T% Your Message and Link %D% Date Time

Example: %T% 9 Ways to Enhance Your FB Page http://bit.ly/b9rn2w %D% 01/08/2010 22:10:00

Another method is set the intervals between your bulk tweets (tick ‘Use Override Interval’ to set the minutes):

#4  Geo-tagging for Reply Campaigns

Another important feature offered by Marketme Tweet is to setup reply campaigns for targeted individuals. The app makes it easy to find relevant people based on your location, keywords, following by an opportunity to network. Especially when people are expressing interests about your product, your immediate respond via reply templates can earn you firsthand connections when attending to their needs. It’s optional to set the reply templates though, but in case you do, make sure to personalize it well to not spoil your first image.

Marketme Tweet is now using geo-tagging to filter results so you can discover local clients in targeted area.

#5  Contact Management

i)  Auto-Follow Option

If you are eager to connect with followers, MarketMe Tweet provides an easy option to reciprocal by ‘Follow Users Back’.

In additional, you can opt in to receive daily @Mentions Emails for the latest results:

ii)  Follow Users based on keywords

You can bulk or selectively follow users based on reply campaigns keywords.

iii)  Unfollow Users who are not Following You

To bulk unfollow or do it selectively.

#6  Social Accounts Integration

Facebook profile integration is now available in MarketMe Tweet. You can post status updates, comment and like your friends’ updates within the client itself. It supports multiple Facebook accounts so if you are managing facebook profiles for your clients, you can inter-switch between them. I am having difficulty to retrieve my facebook page and just submitted a support ticket for it. Will update the results when it’s fixed.

Some of you may wonder about LinkedIn integration, that is do-able with Ping.fm. All you need is to copy your Ping.fm API Key and insert it here: Settings > Ping.fm

Your Ping.fm configuration controls the number of social accounts that get to update from MarketMe Tweet. Here I only plan to update my LinkedIn status, so click ‘Send All’ to reveal the box, make sure ‘use Ping.fm’ is ticked before ‘Send’:

#7  Auto RSS Feed

It’s thrilling to see MarketMe Tweet is now providing feed management for users. Now you can import your favorite blogs’ RSS feed (or your own) and tweet them either way: automatically or manually via RT to credit the author.

According to MarketMe Tweet Support, if user chose to ‘Automatically Tweet the feed’ their brand won’t be visible. This is due to Twitter rules and kindly refer here for detailed explanations. Currently, the brand works brilliantly but I’m still having slight issues with the RT prefix of original author. Will continue to look into this.

Suggested Read: Twitterfeed, HootSuite RSS Feeds, and Blog Posting Schedules

Overall, I am quite impressed with MarketMe Tweet V2. It’s obvious how much this app has improved and I can see why. I have been communicating with their support team after trying out the app and so far they are fast to respond and most of all, willing to accept customers’ feedback. MarketMe Tweet is still actively updating its service. Although there are still rooms for improvement but let’s not forget it’s a marketing tool fundamentally.

Its upcoming updates including Blog integration (wonder if it’s something similar to Hootsuite?), Plugins, Enhancement for Facebook integration so forth. At the same time waiting for minor fixes to make the app more user friendly and presentable. For further improvement, I would suggest to add:

  • Spelling check
  • Filter Search within pane
  • Ability to post images or files (documents) in future enhancements

Not bad to strive towards social aggregator, don’t you think?

How do I Get MarketMe Tweet V2?

MarketMeTweet is not free. Currently the lowest price is $99/year (free updates, 6 month money back guarantee) with limited time offer. Kindly look for Pricing & Plan here. At the same time, MarketMeTweet offers affiliate program too, check it out if you’re interested.

Have you been using MarketMe Tweet V2? What do you think of the app and if you yet to try it, what do you think of it so far?

Note: MarketMe Tweet has changed its name to MarketMeSuite to fit its ultimate purpose as a social media management/marketing tool and not limiting to just Twitter only, but Facebook, Google Calender, Ping.fm and more.

~Check out the Latest Review of MarketMe Tweet V2 or MarketMeSuite here: Tweet Branding, Scheduling and Reply Campaigns with MarketMe Tweet V2.~

_________________________________________________________________________________

Remember Tweetbrand that wowed us with the tweet-branding feature awhile ago? Since then, I have been captivated by the branding concept that made me all the more interested in the release of their main product named MarketMe Tweet.

Just a few days ago my wish fulfilled by an email announcing the big launch of MarketMe Tweet along with a download link. I knew the best way to satisfy my curiosity is to give it a complete run through. So I did. What you’re about to read next is the review of MarketMe Tweet based on personal experience and has nothing to do with any sponsorship by MarketMe Tweet whatsoever. Feel free to comment on the features as we go through them.

What Is MarketMe Tweet?

MarketMe Tweet is a marketing tool that equips with Twitter management ability. Easily put, the combination of Tweetbrand, basic Twitter client and a marketing control panel presents you the below interface (Adobe Air application):

Who might be interested in MarketMe Tweet:

  • Marketers / Promoters / Surveyors for a service or product
  • Individuals who are tracking progress and potential audiences based on particular keywords
  • Individuals who are looking for Twitter network expansion
  • Individuals who are focusing on branding development over multiple accounts

I am no marketer but a couple of its characteristics impressed me. How about a little tour exploring the key features MarketMe Tweet possesses:

7 Features to Brand, Market, Manage with MarketMe Tweet

As of today, MarketMe Tweet is consisting of below key features:

1. Support Multiple Twitter Accounts

MarketMe Tweet allows multiple Twitter accounts be added. Log in the application with your registered details with MarketMe Tweet, authorize your Twitter account(s) integration via OAuth security encryption which is said to be a compulsory for all Twitter applications prior to June 2010. MarketMe Tweet is developed in compatible with the mentioned requirement so it’s a big plus. If you’re interested to know more about this issue, kindly head over to their post about the OAuth security feature.

2. Branding Management

Assign branding to your Twitter account(s) before tweeting. For those who have created the branding applications during Tweetbrand tryout, you only need to copy and paste the Consumer & Secret Key in the fields before clicking ‘Add’. Otherwise, kindly refer to step 3 of branding application setup for details.

To Setup Your Brand: Go to Step 2 ‘Create Your App’ > Sign in to Twitter account > Go to Brand app > Retrieve the consumer and secret key > Step 3 to fill in fields.

MarketMe Tweet has recently reached an agreement with Twitter regarding the branding issue, make sure your brand name does not violate Twitter’s terms & conditions. Here’s what MarketMe Tweet has to say about this:

Extra:

Differ from Tweetbrand, now MarketMe Tweet users can shorten their URL links easily within tweet box (default URL-shortener ~ bit.ly) :

3. Reply Campaigns (Keyword tracking)

I’m sure you are familiar with Tweetbeep or Feed subscription for a particular Twitter search term that alerts you whenever it is mentioned on Twitter. With MarketMe Tweet, not only you can track multiple keywords at the same time (and filter out unwanted terms for accuracy using ‘Negative Keyword’ option), but also include reply templates for targeted users. The replies can be in various forms and randomly picked to be delivered. Here’s the overview:

After you hit ‘Run Campaign’, a display box will show up consisting the people who tweeted the keywords. Hover your mouse over the image thumbnail, the word ‘Reply’ appears; click at it will send out your reply template.

Wait! Didn’t we just go through the discussion last 2 weeks about automated status updates and how much we despise auto messaging? Well, good thing is this option is not compulsory. For those who dislike automation, you can reach out by sending manual, real time tweets while flipping through the list of potential audiences. Bear in mind this is a marketing tool, we all have own theories how things should work around social media but in the end, it’s all about ethical marketing that works in long term.

4. Scheduled Tweets
This scheduler is only available for Twitter updates.

Extra:

While MarketMe Tweet is still working on other network integrations, you can still schedule status updates to Facebook through Selective Twitter Status or Twitter application as shown in the video (Thanks to Tammy):

5. Conversation Thread

The conversation thread keeps track of your recent conversation with selected Twitter user. Just click the ‘Thread Conversation’ button beneath each tweet (in @mentions section) to reveal the thread in ‘Conversation’. For example, if I was to trace my latest conversation with Michelle, I only need to click the thread button and voila! :

6. Follow/ Unfollow Users

Follow – suggesting users to follow based on your keyword campaigns
Unfollow – shows the people who do not follow you back

However, this monitoring feature may requires a long time to load based on your account conditions (number of followers/following etc).

7. Others:

Locations and Languages – to narrow down your results in keyword campaigns and search terms.

Grouping – to tidy up your contacts. In order to group, make sure you are following the user. (Twitter Lists integration is on the way)

Search Flags – to enhance the accuracy to your search terms.

Is MarketMe Tweet the Evolution of Social Management / Marketing Tool ?

Could be. On-going Business competitions and social media time suck challenge marketers to think out of the box. Personally I see great potentials in branding management and keyword campaigns. It’s a relief to see that MarketMe Tweet has resolved a minor conflict with Twitter about branding and maintained the feature as promised.

Overall MarketMe Tweet has started fresh with innovative ideas, but with rooms of improvements. I’m hoping to see more features be added for advanced network engagement: Facebook/LinkedIn and Twitter lists integration, clickable links in tweet (*updated with ver.1.1.4*), spelling check etc. Also, I hope analytical feature be added so users can monitor the effectiveness of chosen brand name, monitor while making adjustments.

Is MarketMe Tweet F.O.C?

MarketMe Tweet is no free application, currently a 1-time fee payment of $39.90 is needed. According to the latest updates, some added features are on the way to existing users (free upgrades). At the same time, MarketMeTweet offers affiliate program to whoever is interested in promoting the application.

Now It’s Up To You…

How to Brand Your Tweets with TweetBrand

You know how social media strategists love to talk about branding right? Well, over the months we have discussed about ways to brand ourselves on Twitter with customized Twitter background and bio descriptions. Now MarketMeTweet offers a new alternative to maximize our exposures through tweet-branding. Meet TweetBrand — a handy and effective tool… oh! Did I mention it’s FREE too?

How Does TweetBrand Work?

Let me make this easy for you, noticed the squared area that’s usually filled by Twitter application names like Tweetdeck, Web or API?

Well, not anymore. With TweetBrand you can now place whatever terms you like: organization or company name, your blog name, your niche subjects… anything that will help to attract like-minded audiences. You can predetermine the landing page of the backlink as well ! Here I place ‘Social @ Blogging Tracker’ as my brand name and a mouse click at it will direct people to my blog. Imagine the benefits I will gain from this tiny modification:

  • The ability to brand my tweets with a descriptive name. In this case, Social Media & Blogging related subjects are my priorities.
  • Increasing exposure with higher chance to meet with like minded individuals or potential clients.
  • Clear niche-identification without being intrusive. Followers can click the backlink at will without me DM them to do so.
  • Retrieve the backlink and attention you deserved on Twitter.

I was testing out this application two days ago and immediately it was recognized by my Twitter friends. They are wondering how my blog name can appear on all my Twitter status?

Therefore, do not underestimate a minor change for it may do wonders to your business. Your company or organization name can be spotted instantly on various Twitter platforms, let it be web apps or desktop clients. It’s a chance to stand out from your competitors and be ahead of the game.

How To Configure TweetBrand to Brand Your Tweets

Basically, you need to register a new application to retrieve consumer key codes which later be used to activate the tweetbrand installer (adobe air application). The configuration may be a little tricky but if you follow the instructions carefully, you’ll be tweeting from TweetBrand in no time:

1. First you need to sign up here in order to get the free download file. Upon receiving the email, click the link as instructed.

2. You will be asked to sign in to Twitter in order to get your consumer key and secret code.

3. Register a new application while in your Twitter page. Fill up the required details and save it.

4. Once the application is ready, you will be given consumer key & consumer secret code which will be needed during installation (Step no.6).

Tweetbrand consumer key and secret code

5. Now you are ready to download TweetBrand. Follow the instructions and proceed until the app is successfully installed to your PC.

6. Login with your TweetBrand registration details. Paste in the consumer key & secret code (from step.4) before integrating your Twitter account(s).

7. Sign in to Twitter and grant access for the application you created. A Twitter Pin number will be displayed. Copy & paste it to the box and hit ‘Apply’ to finalize the process.

8. Now, you can start tweeting with TweetBrand!

Here are several features you should know:

  • Paste the long URL in the tweet box and click ‘Tiny URL’ to shorten it (Of course, you are free to use other shortener services as you pleased).
  • Tick ‘Replies’ will reveal the conversations directed to your username.
  • Tick ‘Friends’ will display the real-time tweets from the people you followed.

Have fun trying out the application and start branding your tweets today! If you’re hoping for more advanced features, you’ll be interested to know about 7 Features to Brand, Market, Manage with MarketMe Tweet.

Seesmic Desktop Is Ahead of the Game with Twitter Lists Integration

Posted by Ching Ya | Posted in Seesmic, Social Media Tool, Social Networking, Twitter, Twitter Desktop Clients, Web Application | Posted on 03-11-2009

I have to retract my own scheduled post at the last minute for this exciting news!

There has been a wild guess going on between Tweetdeck and Seesmic Desktop on who will launch the FIRST Twitter Lists integration? I was ecstatic to learn about Seesmic determination to be ahead of the game with Twitter Lists ! The Seesmic founder, Loic Le Meur also happily announced through Twitter that Seesmic Web will have the same added feature if not by this week, then early next.

So now…

What will Twitter Lists look like in your desktop client?

The Userlists option will be placed at the sidebar of Seesmic Desktop, between Pages & saved Searches. Soon, it will update with your current configured Twitter Lists and those you subscribed to. Here’s an overview:

Twitter list integration 1

Clearly, you can identify the differences between yours and others’ lists by :

  • Username Displayed
  • Color Differences: blue indicates your created list while grey shows the subscribed lists.

Once you click on them, Voila ! You have them displayed in columns for viewing pleasure. To add a Twitter user to existing lists is do-able on Seesmic Desktop. Here’s how:

add user to list

1. Right click on the Twitter user to display the command box. Select ‘Add To Userlist‘.

2. In the dropdown menu, assign the List for your friend and click OK. You’re done !

Neither list-creation nor user-removal is doable on Seesmic Desktop for the time being, but I’m not complaining.

Want to be among the early birds to test out this new feature in Seesmic Desktop? Sign up here and wait for the new release to be sent to you.

If you’re wondering what’s the fuss with Twitter Lists:

Twitter lists

It’s a new way to organize your Twitter account by creating custom groups. You can assign any names you prefer and categorized your Twitter friends accordingly. For me I think it’s necessary to have one fixed site to maintain all our groups, regardless what client we’re using.

Now why is this encouraged?

  • To acknowledge your friends within your network
  • To discover and reconnect with long lost users in your list
  • For the benefits of marketing, projects & business ventures: potential customers/workforce in groups
  • Clear the clutter and manage your follow ups
  • More more more … that’s for you to find out.

Have you started with Twitter Lists yet? Do you think the integration is necessary? Voice it up in the comments and don’t forget to share this fantastic news with others! ^^

Facebook fan page & FB profile

Having trouble separating social lives between leisure and work? Let Facebook Pages help you out.

I’m on Facebook Page for days now and glad that I don’t have to bombard my own profile site with updates my friends find annoyed *chuckle*. But being active on Twitter, wouldn’t it be fantastic if we get to publish selective tweets between personal and Facebook Pages? Good thing that’s now doable in various Twitter platforms and I’m going to show you how.

3 Easy Ways to Share Selective Tweets on Facebook Pages

Tweetdeck (v0.30.5)

1. Go To Tweetdeck Settings > Accounts > Add New Account > Add Your Facebook account.

You will prompt to add your Facebook Pages as well. Isn’t that convenient?

Add Facebook Pages to Tweetdeck

2. Approve the authorization to connect with Facebook by logging in.

Integrate Facebook account to Tweetdeck

3. Tweetdeck will display all Facebook Pages that you are administrated.

Select Facebook pages to be added to Tweetdeck Update Panel

Pick either or all for your preferences; publish posts or comments without repeated logins:

5. There! Add as many Facebook Pages you like and start your selective tweeting.

Twitter Web Page Interface

If your computer system is not compatible to either one of the desktop client above, Facebook has a plugin that’ll work just fine with Twitter web page interface. Introducing:

Selective Twitter Status – choose particular tweets to be published on either Facebook profile or Fan Pages. Make sure your Twitter updates are NOT protected on Twitter. Put ‘#fb‘ at the end of each selected tweet as shown below:

a. Put #fb at the end of your tweet, for example–
Your message here http://your link #fb

b. have #fb followed by a space then a link, for example–
Your message here #fb http://your link

Add the Selective Twitter Status to your application. Remember to click ‘Add to Page’ first before proceeding to your Facebook Pages setup.

Add application to page

During the configuration, you can have either Your Profile or Your Fan Page(s) to integrate with Twitter account. We’ll look at the Fan Page configuration first:

1. Go to ‘Your Fan Pages‘. Only pages you’re an admin of will be displayed. Make your pick.

2. Type in your Twitter username > Save Changes.

configure update status for pages you are an admin for

3. In order to have BOTH Fan Page and personal account compatible with the plugin, you need to grant permission for Fan Page first before doing the same for profile.

grant permission for updates

4. After ‘Grant Permission‘, you’ll be directed to allow status updates as illustrated.

Choose your Fan Page first and click ‘Allow Status Updates‘ before you do the same for your profile page.

allow status updates

But make sure you have filled in your Twitter name first before authorization.

configure Facebook profile to receive Twitter updates

5. This is how the updates will appear in Fan Pages:

Isn’t it great? Problems solved! Now you can post however and whatever you wish interchanging your Facebook personal account and Fan Pages.

The Best of Twitter Desktop Clients – Secrets Revealed!

Posted by Ching Ya | Posted in Social Media Tool, Social Networking, Twitter Desktop Clients | Posted on 24-05-2009

43

So I have been quite twitter-focus lately. From the basic twitter search to effectively utilize retweets for publicity and info sharing, it wouldn’t be complete without a scoop on twitter desktop clients. They are equally important and some more ease to use. But in case you’re wondering…

What Is A Desktop Client?

It is an application to manage tweets (=conversations) over PC desktop instead of log in to the Twitter web interface. What’s great about desktop client is that not only it provides us the basic functionality, but also equipped with features to group people we followed, manage search and tweets for easy track-backs.

Types of desktop clients…
There are quite a few you could choose from. Here’s a well-compiled list of 26 microblogging tools by mintblogger applicable for Mac & Windows OS with explained features. However today, I’m going to feature 3 powerful desktop clients that you heard so much about:

Comparison Reviews of 3 Best Twitter Desktop Clients:

Twhirl, Tweetdeck & Seesmic Desktop
Twhirl was the earliest among the three that made it to user’s desktop. Its single column interface similar to any Instant Messenger – the ease of ‘tweeting’ whenever you feel like it! Oh, did I mention it supports multiple accounts-login too?
Tweetdeck emerged afterwards and overtook Twhirl’s shining spot with its multi columns interface and Facebook account integration; alongside with special features such as Twitpic/URL previews and 12seconds that capture the interest of Twitter folks. Yup.. ‘We Got A HOT ONE Right Here!!’ (Please don’t sue me Randy…)

Later in end of April, 2009, Seesmic made a comeback with its evolutionary production named Seesmic Desktop — added with Tweetdeck’s specialty of split screens, Facebook integration and grouping ability. Despite Tweetdeck has won over a strong user base over the times and said to be the most powerful desktop client existed, Seesmic Desktop has gradually capture the attention of many with its multiple accounts support, and the most recent: replying Facebook comments!

Let’s Dig A Little Deeper…

1. Interface:

If you are super observant and wouldn’t want to miss a THING, then Seesmic Desktop would amaze you with its unlimited, multi columns interface.  It is now providing options from single column, one fixed others detached to all detached columns. Best served to multitasking Twitter individuals. Tweetdeck however, manages up till 10 columns, and allows an 11th for special inquiry such as user profile or manage groups. Twhirl, on the other hand, plain and simple – my choice of application during office hours when limited tweeting is taking place.

interface

2. Notifications of Tweets, DMs, Replies etc:

Both Twhirl and Seesmic Desktop shared the distinctive alert notifications. One could easily fly from kitchen upon hearing the alert, and Replies/DMs are recognizable with specified colours. Tweetdeck‘s alert however, is monotonous and no colour identifications between tweets or replies.

notification-alerts

3. URL Shortener Services:

As much we have mixed feelings with URL shortener, one could not deny its importance in microblogging where ’140′ is the limit! Twhirl and Seesmic Desktop are good picks if you wish to track your bit.ly click stats. By providing your bit.ly acc API key, all URLs shortened by bit.ly will be saved for track backs.

url-shorteners-in-desktop-clients

4. Sharing Pictures from Desktop Clients:

Twitpic is the default picture sharing service for all desktop clients. Seesmic Desktop has 4 more options: Twitgoo, yfrog, Pikchur & Posterous. Tweetdeck, on the other hand, just added YFrog as the extra image sharing service.

share-pic-via-twitter-desktop-clients

5. Support Multiple Accounts:

All of these 3 desktop clients are now supporting multiple Twitter accounts. While Seesmic Desktop & Tweetdeck could have as many Twitter accounts created and interchangeable whenever necessary, Twhirl looks slightly distracting to have all accounts splattering all over your PC desktop.

multiple-twitter-accounts

6. Facebook Account Integration:

Facebook is EVERYWHERE nowadays. Seesmic Desktop and Tweetdeck are two of the lucky picks that own this functionality.

facebook-integration

7. Assign Groups for Tweeters:

Both Tweetdeck & Seesmic Desktop are preferred choices as all groups are retrievable after re-login the applications. Tweetdeck has a slight edge over Seesmic Desktop because the groups or saved columns could be synced via a pre-registered Tweetdeck account (your email). That means you could have the equal column settings on any other PCs you’re working on.

twitter grouping

8. Tweetshrink:

A life saver for lengthy messages. Seesmic Desktop has just added this feature on 23rd May, 2009.
tweetshrink

9. Scan & Filter Keyword Search:

Too many tweets flooding in and you’ve been missing out the juicy news! Try the ‘Filter’ option that works similarily to ‘CTRL+F’ of your PC and trace back the missing tweet, or following up a conversation. It is available in both Twhirl and Tweetdeck. But, allow me to give Tweetdeck more credit than the rest, as the ‘Filter’ is built-in EACH column! How cool is that.

10. Preview Pictures / Long URLs before Navigate to web pages:

Tweetdeck is the sole winner in this category as it provides the preview feature to make sure the validity of the shortened URL & Twitpic source.

11. Other Special Features:

special-features

And there’s so much more in each desktop client!

Now you understand why we make a fuss about these twitter desktop clients. Aren’t they fascinating? If you have yet to use any, please try. You will be amazed how it saves your time, and makes your tweeting life much easier and organized. Power users should definitely give Seesmic Desktop or Tweetdeck a run through.

Please share with us…

Which is your favourite Twitter desktop client? Share with us why you chose it and did it make a difference in your tweeting experience? Love to hear from you.

Please Retweet,I’ll be Forever Grateful. Thanks! ^^

Facebook & Twitter: Holding Hands in Seesmic Desktop 0.2.0

New interface of Seesmic Desktop 0.2.0

It’s the moment that we’ve been waiting for: The Integration of Facebook account with Twitter, in Seesmic Desktop 0.2.0 release. I was pretty excited about it, and the setup is as easy and convenient as it seems.

First of all, What Is Seesmic Desktop?

Seesmic Desktop is one of the desktop clients for Twitter. What does desktop client do? Instead of us logging in everytime through the Twitter official site, which could be cumbersome sometimes, desktop clients make us life easier by allowing us to tweet over our PC desktop. Think of it as a twitter messenger. Efficient and easy to operate.

Let’s make Twitter + Facebook all in ONE place!
The process is similar to how you setup your Twitter account in Seesmic Desktop:

1. In the configuration bar, go to ‘Accounts‘, click the ‘+‘ to bring up the ‘Add your Facebook account‘ command box.

2. You will be asked to verify your Facebook account by key in your email add & password.

4

3. Then, the following confirmation boxe(s) will appear for Seesmic to remember your facebook account while allowing status updates etc be done through it.
