**the live performance clip was deleted by its user, so I replaced it with the Audio file instead**

Danny Gokey blew me away with ‘I Hope You Dance’ (originally by Lee Ann Womack)! Although heard it a thousands of times but just like how David Cook did with Always Be My Babe, I actually like Danny‘s version better (no offense to Ronan Keating though). I hope there’s a complete version of this song, don’t you?

Still a little early for prediction, but we’ll see how far he’ll go (pretty far, if he doesn’t mess up). I’m surprised to find so many favourites at such early stage. A little upset to see some were eliminated, sigh.. but there can only be 1 winner right? So many talents, bound to be a great competition ahead. It’s gonna be another 6 months of musical nights and I’m up for it. Want to know the rest of the Top 36?

I think I’m gonna go play some.. who got the chords? ^^

Congratulations, Lina!

Another friend of ours got married!

Despite the heavy rain, everyone was still pretty excited about it. I went to Lina’s parents’ house about 8:00 a.m., Ah Ting said to me,

“I’ve already been very, very nice to the groom, see? I didn’t even put the wasabi like I supposed to, i put KAYA instead !! But his ‘brother’ team is definitely having some!!” ..

It’s our chinese tradition, to have some ‘challenges’ for the groom before he gets to the bride, you see. So, they came around 8:45am, and got through every ‘game’ we had for them. Not too tough, lucky them! Poor weather, so, time is limitted. By 10 a.m., everybody was at the church for the ceremony. At night, their wedding reception was held at Tg.Batu Beach Seafood Restaurant, ended at around 9:35pm.

So, another busy day for the newly weds. On the next day, a brand new journey starts for them as a couple. May them live happily every after!

A Remake of Mariah Carey's 'Hero' by X Factor 2008 finalists

Came across this song today, it appears to be one of the favourites in YouTube today. As you already seen the title, it’s a classic, and sung in almost every singing competition that you know. This time, X-factor gathered all 12 finalists and performed ‘Hero’ in aid of the ‘Help For Heroes’ Charity, which is set up to help Britain’s wounded troops and their families as well. A good cause, I would say.

It’s great that huge singing competitions like X-Factor, American Idol to get involved in the charity to instill the public awareness, especially to the youngsters, since they had made such great impact in the entertainment world nowadays. X Factor is practically the British style of American Idol, a TV reality show to discover the singing talents in Britain, singers like Leona Lewis and Shane Ward are some that made it from the show. I have not really been following this season’s episodes, but from the clip it is not hard to notice there are some great singers in it.

A little trivia for it: There were 2 contestants who were unable to make it on stage due to some technical errors (some doors got jammed, according to Simon Cowell). Too bad.. well, hope the show would make it up to them, maybe in episodes to come. Keep their finger crossed!

Yesterday was a night to be remembered.
Congrats to our dear friend Chiong Choo Ming, finally tied up the knot with lovely Chen Wen! Anyone who knows him, knows exactly how kind and a wonderful friend he is. He’s the friend you could count on, and always willing to help and give, however he could. Don’t believe me? Just see how many friends turn out last night, and some were not even in the photos. Feels like a small highschool reunion, like the one we had in June.
????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

CM, wish you all the best! May you & Chen Wen live happily ever after, and surely you will !

Congratulations To Stephen & Winnie. Ok, I know, some photos may not be in good quality. Low-budget-camera does have its limitations. Do have mercy, ok? haha.. for Winnie’s sake.
(Slide removed due to technical problem)

So happy for you Winnie, we wish you a wonderful marriage. God bless you & family always.

Started a blog, finally, after days of nagging to myself – A place of my very own ! A step is still a step, I guess I could pat myself at the back, at least. What I’m going to do with this place… to share what I’ve been doing/ learning/ experiencing.. perhaps some of my works? It’s time to do something, for a change. Persistence.. can I do that? Sure hope so…
